This allows us to see what type of Newspaper is most popular with our age group. From these results we can see that The Metro and The Sun are the most popular. We presume that The Metro was popular due to the fact that it is free.
We wanted to know how many people read Newspapers on a daily/weekly/fortnightly/monthly basis. This would allow us to see how many people read newspapers regurlary and it allows us to see what should go into our articles.
We wanted to know how much people are willing to spend on a Newspaper, as when we do ours we will know how much to price ours at. Although as we are basing our newspaper in lakeside we may make our newspaper free for our main targeted audience.
We asked this question because this would help us when designing our newspaper, because then we will know what contents should go in our newspaper. We have discovered that most people look at the articles in the newspaper followed by the pictures. This will help us when we come to writing up our articles as this is what the majority of people look at.
We asked this question because we wanted to know what other forms of competition we had other than Newspaper. From these results we are able to see that our main competition is the internet and the TV.
We decided to ask this question, as we wanted to see who we sould aim our Newspaper for. From looking at our results we can see that the majority of people are 17, therefore we will aim our Newspaper at 16 - 18 year olds.
We decided to ask 20 people, 10 being male and 10 being female, this was so that we could get an unbiased view when asking our questions.
