The Metro is a popular, well known free newspaper, which is avaliable to the general public. Like every newspaper it has a website, which we have now analysed, and been influenced by.
We liked The Metro's layout, as the layout is simple and easy to you, with attractive headlines and pictures. We like the continuous colour scheme, and we are going to follow in their footsteps and also have a colour scheme, which relates to our newspaper. Ironically we have the same colours, blue and white.

The London Paper is a well known newspaper that is distributed all over London. It is a free paper that is passed around for the general public. We looked at this website because the London Paper has alot of general gossip and as we are basing our newspaper in Lakeside we too wish to include gossip within our paper and we found that this newspaper was a good role model for this.
